The Perceptual Motor Program (PMP) aims to develop children’s perceptions and understandings of themselves and the world around them.   PMP develops children’s balance, fitness, hand-eye and foot-hand co-ordination, locomotion skills and understanding of concepts such as on, in, through, under, using a variety of common and specifically designed equipment in a sequential order that progressively become more difficult and complex as the year goes on. It involves activities such as rolling, crawling, bouncing, throwing, eye-tracking and obstacle course
